Standard Applications

To enable the Trustees to assess all applications from a similar basis, they ask that every applicant complete the Stage 1 Application Form. The Trustees undertake to respond to this in 4 – 6 weeks. If this response is positive, then applicants will be required to complete a more detailed form under Stage 2. These forms can either be printed from the website or downloaded so that they can be completed electronically.

By Stage 2, wherever possible, the Trustees will require a proper Financial Plan prepared by the applicant. This should contain clear and measurable goals, which will be reviewed at regular intervals by the parties. In cases where the applicant does not possess either the skills or the resources to prepare such a Plan, the Trust may be prepared to assist.

Finally, the Trustees will want to interview the applicant(s) at their place of operation or project site, both prior to the granting of funds and during the lifetime of the project, to monitor its progress. In addition the Trustees will expect regular communication from the applicant, either verbal or by letter, to keep them informed of how the project is moving forward.
