The Oglesby Charitable Trust
The Trust was established in 2000: since then over 300 charities have been supported through approximately £13 million in grants.
The Trust was set up to support a broad range of activities in the North West of England, to further the well-being of the region and its people, with an emphasis on those disadvantaged by poverty, poor health, and their repercussions.
The Trustees make donations of around £3m per annum, and at any one time the Trust has over 80 active relationships. The Trustees play a positive role in each of these, throughout the lifetime of the donation. Grantees tell us that this involvement and personal time can prove just as beneficial to them as the financial support.
Funding proposals to the Oglesby Charitable Trust are only considered following a direct invitation to apply.
